  • Practice philosophy

    As a privately owned, physician only anesthesia practice, we value our autonomy and enjoy the opportunity to provide direct patient care.

    At RTA, we understand that the success of our group relies upon the competency, camaraderie and professionalism of our physicians. For this reason, we use a rigorous screening process to ensure we are hiring not only clinically excellent physicians but also people who are kind and caring. We hire only board-certified/board-eligible anesthesiologists. The ability to do healthy peds and regional is a plus.

    We recognize that the best physicians are are not only excellent practitioners but also parents, spouses, sisters, and brothers and we strive to honor each physician’s work-life choice, allowing them to tailor their practice to their specific needs. Most physicians take 8 weeks of vacation, but there is the ability to take more or less.

  • Buy-in / Compensation

    We recognize that anesthesiologists are tired of working in groups that have been structured to reward senior members by taking advantage of associates and junior partners. For this reason, we set out to form a new anesthesia group that is completely centered around fairness from the top to the bottom. This has resulted in a cohesive group that treats each member equally from compensation to vacation selection to call burden. There is no buy-in to RTA, no non-compete and the compensation structure is the same for everyone.

  • Call

    We are a growing practice that covers 3 hospitals and multiple surgery centers. OR Call is home call with low call burden. One of the three hospitals has an OB service and OB call is in-house.

    Each physician is equally responsible to cover their share of call. This typically involves covering first call every 15th night.
